Assembly/Packaging- Labeling

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a current Assembly/Packaging- Labeling job in Torrance. This is a long-term temporary opportunity. As a Labeling Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating the daily process for label production on reviews and approval.

Responsibilities for this Labeling Coordinator:

•Perform 100% inspection operation on jobs requiring such

•Perform necessary machine set-ups for shrink wrapping, drilling, cutting, and folding.

•Package jobs in the area as necessary

•Enter necessary information, make, and label boxes or individual units packaged in the assembly area

•Transfer completed jobs to next department, (e.g., Shipping, finished goods), in the tracking system

•Deliver transferred jobs to the appropriate area

•Responsible for assembly, shrink wrapping, drilling, padding, labeling, and bindery duties

•Light duty rewinding and or rework as needed

•Maintain a clean and organized work area

•Assist departmental personnel as necessary

•Comply with all pertinent departmental & company policies, procedures and instructions

•Perform any other duties as required

Qualifications:

•Able to efficiently perform manual operations

•Detail oriented

•Quality conscious

•Able to carry out written instructions

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Counting and/or inspecting product

Fine attention to detail is VERY important

We have openings on the first shift (Monday - Friday from 6AM - 2:30PM) and weekend when needed.

Pay for this position is $9.50/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.
