Job Description:
A company is looking for a JAVA API Developer Lead to support a
modernization program for the U.S. Department of Education.
Key Responsibilities
Develop maintainable, scalable, defect-free code following best
practices and coding standards
Participate in daily scrum meetings, report progress, and address
impediments
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and support various
testing stages
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a Public Trust background
investigation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
technical discipline, or equivalent experience
7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a lead
role
Experience developing API Microservices and knowledge of REST API,
JSON
Experience with git/GitLab DevOps/CI/CD platform and SQL
