About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Counsel to join
the Employment Counseling & Litigation Section in the Employment
Division of the Wells Fargo Legal Department. - For additional

participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables and
contribute to large-scale planningProvide legal advice and
represent of the Company in highly complex litigation,
negotiations, settlement discussions, and claims related legal
issuesReview and analyze moderately complex challenges that require
an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsManage highly complex
claims and litigationProvide guidance to internal clients on legal
matters to assist with legal risk assessment, planning and policy
decisions, claims against the Company, probability of loss, and
develop cost-effective risk mitigation strategiesDraft complex
legal documents, review and negotiate documents prepared by outside
counselIndependently resolve moderately complex issues and lead
team to meet deliverablesIdentify and analyze complex legal issues,
develop conclusions and make recommendations for issue
resolutionDevelop the strategic direction for certain claims
functions and management of related policies, procedures and
controls to mitigate riskEducate, train, and supervise less
experienced attorneys within the Legal departmentCollaborate with
peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and
achieve goalsLead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less
experienced staffWork directly with business clients and develop an
in depth understanding of business unit activities and
productsPartner with business leaders and management of other
corporate departments to develop and implement risk management
programsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Law experience, or
equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the
following: work experience, training, military experience,
educationActive State Bar membership or the equivalent in a country
outside the United StatesDesired Qualifications:Ability to analyze
employment law and regulatory issues and provide effective advice
to clients on complex employment legal mattersIn house legal
experienceExperience providing counsel and guidance regarding
complex employment law issuesExperience with FINRA matters,
including providing counsel and guidance regarding complex
employment law issues involving employees who are licensed through
FINRA and experience handling arbitration of employment claims
before FINRAExperience handling state and federal employment law
matters of all typesExperience handling employment litigation,
administrative issues, and arbitration of employment claims before
AAA, JAMS, or other arbitration forumsStrong attention to detail
and accuracyExperience with management-side labor law, including
organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, and labor-relations
lawsuits, charges, arbitration hearings and administrative
proceedingsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skillsAbility to effectively organize and prioritize
work while handling matters of significanceAbility to work
effectively in a complex environment with a high degree of
collaborationEffective in building partnerships, functioning well
with project teams, and working for the success of the teamJob
Expectations:Travel up to 10%Ability to work at one of our approved
job posting locationsAbility to work a hybrid schedule, in office
at least 3 days a weekPay RangeReflected is the base pay range
offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors
including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or
work location. The range listed is just one component of the
compensation package offered to candidates.$120,400.00 -
